On 7 May 2013, the plenary session of the German Islam Conference met for the final time in the current legislative period. The question of the future was raised and the meeting also considered the DIK’s achievements to date.

Deutsche Islam Konferenz_en Project group: Role models in Muslim contexts

At its meeting held on 24 January 2012, the project group discussed the topic of violence in a domestic context. In addition to contributions from Dr Schröttle from the University of Giessen and Seyran Ateş from Berlin on the subject of domestic violence against women with an immigrant background, the paper "Forced marriage in Germany" was presented.

Preparatory Committee presents its initial results to the plenary meeting

The German Islam Conference's (DIK) Preparatory Committee met on 1 March 2011 for the last time before the plenary meeting held on 29 March 2011. It provided the initial results of the second stage of the DIK's almost year-long working phase.
