The Plenary Meeting of the German Islam Conference presents the results of the previous year and adopts the declaration against domestic violence.

At its meeting held on 24 January 2012, the project group discussed the topic of violence in a domestic context. In addition to contributions from Dr Schröttle from the University of Giessen and Seyran Ateş from Berlin on the subject of domestic violence against women with an immigrant background, the paper "Forced marriage in Germany" was presented.

These are the questions posed by the latest study organised by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees. The results are expected to be available at the beginning of 2012.
